Breaking the Word

GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 15:29-37

Great crowds followed Jesus. They came to him to be healed of their many infirmities. He healed them all of their diseases. They did not come only for this. They also came to listen to him. He also taught them many things. He went up the mountain and sat there was to teach them (went up on the mountain, and sat down there).

It was not only for healing and for eating they came to him. He took pity on them and it was rightly so because they were there with him for three days. There was so much of preaching and healing was done in those three days. Their docility, their longing, their willingness, their openness to the message of the kingdom made available all the other things.

இயேசு மக்கள் கூட்டத்தின் மீது பரிவுகொள்கிறார் ஏனென்றால் மக்கள் அவரோடு இருந்தனர். மூன்று நாட்களாக மக்கள் தங்களை மறந்து> தங்களை சார்ந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் மறந்து இயேசுவை மட்டும் நினைத்து அவரோடு அலைந்து திரிகின்றனர். இறையாட்சியை மட்டும் நினைத்து> இறைவார்த்தை மட்டும் கேட்டு> இயேசுவோடு இருப்பதால் அவர்களுக்கு எல்லாம் சேர்த்து கொடுக்கப்படுகிறது.

GOSPEL READING: LUKE 10:21-24

God has a plan for everyone and everything in the world. Nothing happens in the world without him knowing it. He has created the world; he has ordered it; and he has a plan for everything and his plans work out. Knowing the will of God and working his will in the world is the greatest goal of life for man.

Jesus came in to the world and discerned the will of God in his forty days of prayer at the beginning of his ministry and he discerned the plan of God for everything. He wanted the will of God to be worked out before his own will and wish. Here in this passage he has realized the will of God and expressed it openly.

தந்தையின் திருவுளத்தை அறிந்து அதை செயல் படுத்துவதுதான் படைப்பின் நோக்கம். உலக நிகழ்வுகளில் இறைவனின் திருவுளத்தை கண்டு அதை செயல்படுத்துவது மனிதனின் தலையான கடமை. இயேசு அதை சிறப்பாக செய்தார். உலக நிகழ்வுகளில் இறைவனின் திருவுளம் கண்டார்.
