Breaking the Word

GOSPEL READING: LUKE 12:1-7

Hypocrisy is practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess. There are different types of hypocrites. There is type of hypocrite who acts as if he is strong in his spirituality just make himself look good. There is another type who demands others to do things while he himself does not do. Yet another type prevents others from following even Jesus but follow his pretence. Still there is another type of hypocrite who is preoccupied about his outer behaviour rather than what is going on in his soul.

Jesus says that everything in the world is under the control and care of God and nothing happens without the knowledge of God. Every pretence will be made known to public. Even the words said in secrecy will be made known to all. Pretender thinks that he is in control of all his actions and words. Point of fact is that God is in control the pretender as well.

மனிதர்களுடைய வெளிவேடங்கள் பல வகைகளில் வெளிப்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன. ஒரு சிலர் தாங்கள் ஆன்மீகத்தில் சிறந்தவர்கள் என்று வெளியில் காட்டிக்கொள்கிறார்கள். வேறு சிலர் மற்றவர்கள் தங்களை பின்பற்றவேண்டும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்கள். இன்னும் சிலர் இயேசுவைக்கூட மறக்கடித்து தங்களை முன்வைகிறார்கள். இன்னும் வேறு சிலர் தங்கள் வெளி செயல்களில் கவனம் செலுத்துகிறார்கள் ஆனால் ஆன்மாவை மறந்துவிடுகிறார்கள்.

GOSPEL READING: LUKE 11:47-54

Every generation continues the wrong of their predecessor. They do not turn from the wicked ways of their ancestors. Ancestors killed the prophets and their descendants build monuments for the prophets. They continue the mistakes or they develop the mistakes into further greater wrongs.

The world is charged with the shedding of the blood of everyone from the foundation of the world. Everyone is responsible for the evil done in the world. No one can escape as innocent for the wrongs done in the world. In one way or the other everyone is responsible for the evil in the world.

முன்னோர் செய்த பாவத்திற்கு பின்வருபவர் உடன்படுகிறார்கள். முன்னோர் செய்த தவற்றை தொடர்கிறார்கள் அல்லது அதை உறுதிபடுத்துகிறார்கள். ஆகவே தீமைகள் அனைத்திற்கும் எதோ ஒரு வழியில் எல்லாரும் உடன்பட்டவர்களே.
