GOSPEL READING: JOHN 16:12-15

He will glorify me,

The relationship that exists between the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit is described here and some the activities of the Holy Spirit are given. The relationship that exists between them is for the good of the disciples. So God’s relationship and God’s activities are for the good of the people.

The activities of the Holy Spirit are: guide the disciples to all truth; declare those things that will happen in the future; glorify Jesus; declare in front of the disciples. All these activities are centered on Jesus. Holy Spirit comes only with the intention of making Jesus known, glorifies and declared.

தூய ஆவியாரின் பணிகள்: முழு உண்மையை நோக்கி வழிநடத்துதல்@ வரப்போகிறவற்றை அறிவித்தல்@ மாட்சிப்படுத்துதல்@ அறிவித்தல். இப்பணிகள் அனைத்தும் இயேசுவை மையப்படுத்துகின்றன அதோடு இப்பணிகளினால் பயனடைபவர்கள் சீடர்களே.

GOSPEL READING: JOHN 16:5-11

And when he comes he will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation:

Jesus came with a mission. He has completed the mission and he had to go back to the one sent him. His going back to the Father has two reasons: one is because he had completed the mission and the other is that the advocate will come only if he returns to the Father.

The Advocate will teach the world that the ideas that they have with regard to sin, righteousness and condemnation are wrong. Sin is, not believing in Jesus. Their idea about righteousness is wrong because Jesus is returning to the Father. Their idea about condemnation is wrong because the ruler of the world is condemned already.

அவர் வந்து பாவம், நீதி, தீர்ப்பு ஆகியவை பற்றி உலகினர் கொண்டுள்ள கருத்துகள் தவறானவை என எடுத்துக்காட்டுவார்.

துனையாளரின் வருகை தரும் பயன்கள்: பாவம், நீதி, தீர்ப்பு ஆகியவை பற்றி உலகினர் கொண்டுள்ள கருத்துகள் தவறானவை என எடுத்துக்காட்டுவார். பாவம் என்பது இயேசுவின்மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாததுதான். இயேசு தந்தையிடம் செல்வதன் வழியாக நீதி நிலைநாட்டப்படுகிறது. தீயோன் தீர்ப்பிடப்பட்டு விட்டதால் தீர்ப்பு நிரூபிக்கப்படுகிறது.
