GOSPEL READING: LUKE 6:27-38
Jesus tells his listeners to be different from the others. He has always been telling them to be different from Pharisees, Scribes and now pagans. Whatever they do is not anything wrong. They love their friends; they assist they own people; they give to people in order to get it back etc.
Be different. Love them without expecting to be loved by them (enemies). Give to them (whomsoever they may be) without expecting back anything from them. In short be like the heavenly Father. He lets rain fall on the good and the bad. He lets the sun shine on the righteous and the unjust.
வித்தியாசமாய் இருங்கள் என்று இயேசு கூறுகிறார். பொதுவாக மக்கள் நண்பர்களுக்கு அன்பு காட்டுகிறார்கள்> உறவினர்களோடு பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறார்கள்> மீண்டும் கிடைக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையில் உதவுகிறார்கள். நீpங்கள் விண்ணகத் தந்தையைப்போல் இருங்கள். ஏனெனில் அவர் நன்றி கெட்டோருக்கும் பொல்லாதோருக்கும் நன்மை செய்கிறார்.
