GOSPEL READING: MARK 16:15-18
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Belief in God and the baptism are essential for the salvation. God wanted that the whole world should be saved. This was the reason for the commission which sent the disciples into the whole world. Proclamation of the good news became the top priority for the salvation.
The signs that accompanied them were clear indications of the spread of the kingdom of God. They had control over demons (spirit world); they had mastery over languages (spread over other land); they had the gift of life (poison and serpents had no effect on them); they also had the gift of wholeness (healed people).

நற்செய்தியை பறைசாற்றுதல் வழியாக நம்பிக்கை வளர்கிறது. நம்பிக்கைகொண்டு திருமுழுக்குப் பெறுவோர் மீட்புப் பெறுவர். மீட்புப் பெறுதல்தான் இறைவன் இவ்வுலகிற்கு கொடுக்கும் சிறந்த கொடை. நம்பிக்கைகொண்டவர்கள் தீமை மீதும், மொழிகள் மீதும், உடல் மீதும், உயிர் மீதும் அதிகாரம் கொண்டிருப்பர்.
