GOSPEL READING: MARK 10: 46-50
“Go your way; your faith has saved you.”
The blind man was a beggar. He used to spread his cloak in front of him to collect the coins that were thrown to him by the passers-by. When Jesus called him he threw away the cloak and went after Jesus. That is he gave up his old way of living. This he did even before he was healed of his blindness. His willingness it change his life style is an important factor.
His change of life was an expression of his faith. For Jesus said ‘go your way; your faith has saved you’. The blind man’s willingness to change his life style and ready to go after Jesus are the signs of his faith. It is faith that heals at the end. But faith is expressed in many ways and here it is in changing one’s life style.

‘நீர் போகலாம்@ உமது நம்பிக்கை உம்மை நலமாக்கிற்று”
அவரும் தம் மேலுடையை எறிந்து விட்டு> குதித்தெழுந்து இயேசுவிடம் வந்தார். இதுதான் அவருடைய நம்பிக்கையின் வெளிப்பாடு. குணம் பெறும் முன்பே தனது வாழ்வை மாற்றி அமைப்பதின் அடையாளமாக தம் மேலுடையை எறிந்து (பிச்சை எடுப்பதற்கு உதவிய) விட்டு வருகிறார்.
