GOSPEL READING: MARK 11:27-33
They returned once more to Jerusalem.
Ministry of Jesus now centers on Jerusalem. He returns again and again to Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the place of all activities for Jews. Religious and political activities take the central place. These activities base themselves on authority. People in leadership are worried about the authority of Jesus because of the influence of Jesus on religion and society.
Authority is either from Heaven or from human. People of divine authority are not afraid of anything. And that what Jesus is trying to say; so also was John the Baptist. If the authority was from human then the person of authority would be afraid of the people and also of the persons who grants authority.

அவர்கள் மீண்டும் எருசலேமுக்கு வந்தார்கள்.
எருசலேம் இயேசுவின் பணித்தளமாகிவிடுகிறது. பணிசெய்யும் அதிகாரம் கேள்விக்கு உட்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. அதிகாரம் இறைவனிடமிருந்து வரலாம் அல்லது மனிதனிடமிருந்து வரலாம். இறைவனிடமிருந்து அதிகாரத்தைப் பெற்றவர் அஞ்சுவதில்லை. மாறாக மனிதனிடமிருந்து வரும் அதிகாரத்தை பெற்றவர் பயப்படுவர்.
