GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 7:21-29
Miracle workers and prophets are called by Jesus as evil doers. There are miracles and prophecies that do not come from God. They are in fact false prophets and magicians. They do these activities for their own sake and for their own gain. Externally they pretend to come for God. They use the name of God and in effect they are for themselves.
Jesus is the true and only son of God who was to come as redeemer. All the Old Testament books speak of his coming and the people also await his coming. Only those who listen to him and follow his directions are the true disciples. They will be firm and strong like a house built on rock; they will not be destroyed by wind and water (passing events).
இயேசுவின் பெயரால் இறைவாக்கு உரைப்பவர்கள்> பேய்களை ஓட்டுபவர்கள்> வல்ல செயல்கள் பல செய்பவர்கள் எல்லாம் நெறிகேடாகச் செயல்படுவோர் என இயேசுவால் அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். ஏனென்றால் அவர்கள் இயேசுவின் வார்த்தையை கேட்டு அதன்படி நடப்பவர்கள் அல்ல. இயேசுவின் வார்த்தைக்கு செயல்வடிவம் கொடுப்போர் உறுதியானவர்கள் அழிவைக் காணாதவர்கள்.
