GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 10: 16-23
Persecutions and sufferings are sure to come (sheep in the midst of wolves) in the way of the disciples. Close relatives and friends are the ones who will hand over the followers of Jesus to the officials (trusted ones betray). These missionaries will stand in front of Governors and kings alone and asked to bear witness (Isolated). In these moments of isolation, betrayal and persecutions the disciples should trust in God and stand firm in Faith (not to worry).
In the time of persecutions, betrayal and isolation God’s spirit will be present among the followers and he will speak for them (instead of them). Believers and witnesses feel the presence of God (Holy Spirit) right at the very moment when they are left alone physically, mentally, and socially. Followers are never alone.
இயேசுவின் பெயரால், இயேசுவுக்காக சாட்சிகளாக வாழும்போது சீடர்கள் துன்பங்களை சந்திப்பார்கள்> காட்டிக்கொடுக்கப்படுவார்கள்> தனிமைபடுத்தப்படுவார்கள். இந்த சூழ்நிலைகளில் சீடர்கள் மனம் தளராது இருக்கவேண்டும். நம்பிக்கையோடு இருக்கவேண்டும். ஏனெனில் தூய ஆவியார் அவர்களோடு> அவர்களில் இருந்து அவர்களுக்காக பேசுவார். சீடர்கள் தனிநபர்கள் அல்ல.
