GOSPEL READING: LUKE 24:46-53
The disciples are called to be witnesses. They are not merely proclaiming and announcing the truth about the kingdom. It is true they are called to announce the kingdom but they do not announce as outsiders. They have to speak only what they have seen and heard. For this they should have had experience.
They are witnesses of the suffering of Jesus. They have to bear witness to the resurrection, ascension, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Besides these they are to be witnesses of repentance and forgiveness of sins. From the side of God they bear witness to all the godly things and from the side of God they are witnesses to repentance and forgiveness.
சீடர்கள் சாட்சிகளாக இருக்கவேண்டும் மேலும் சாட்சிகளாக வாழவேண்டும். இயேசுவின் பாடுகளுக்கு> இறப்புக்கு> உயிர்ப்புக்கு> விண்ணேற்ப்புக்கு> தூய ஆவியின் வருகைக்கு> மனம்திரும்புதலுக்கு> பாவமன்னிப்புக்கு சாட்சிகளாக இருக்க வேண்டும். இவைகளெல்லாம் அனுபவங்களாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அனுபவங்களின் அறிவிப்பே சாட்சியம்.
