GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 12: 1-8
Here in this passage we find the terms: Sabbath, Sacrifice, Temple etc which are religious terms or refer to something religious. There are also terms like hunger, mercy, and men etc which refer to human. Jesus makes a comparison between these two.
Jesus does not belittle God or godly things. But when it comes to choose between religious practices and the human then Jesus chooses the person. Person himself is the creation of God and religion and the religious practices are for man to relate to God. If person is lost then the religion will not have people to practice.
இறைவன் முதன்மைப்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும். ஆனால்> மதமும் மதம் சார்ந்த செயல்களும் எவ்வளவுதான் முக்கியமானதாக இருந்தாலும் மனிதனின் வாழ்விற்கு பயனுல்லவைகள். மனிதன் முன்னிலைப் படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும்.
