GOSPEL READING: JOHN 14:7-14
Again Jesus speaks about the knowledge of the Father and belief in God. These two depends on the knowledge of Jesus and Belief in Jesus. By saying, “Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me” to Philip Jesus affirms that experience should necessarily bring one to knowledge and belief.
Believing in God and Jesus, and knowing God and Jesus are there because Jesus said all what he has learnt from the Father. He has not said anything of his own. Whatever he has said and whatever he has done are from the father that is to say if Father was here he would have said the same and done the same thing. Whoever believes Jesus will do the same because he will be like Jesus to the Father.

இயேசுவும் தந்தையும் ஒன்றாய் இருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களிடையே உள்ள ஒற்றுமை எவ்வளவு நிறைவானதென்றால் ஒருவர் மற்றவர் சொல்லுவதையே பேசுவார்> ஒருவர் மற்றவர் செய்வதையே செய்வார். இயேசு அனுபவம் பெற்றவர் தந்தையை அறிந்தவராவார்> தந்தைமேல் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவராவார். இயேசுமேல் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர் அவரைப்போலவே இருப்பார்.
