GOSPEL READING: MARK 12:13-17
Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.
People are caught up between God and the world. They have to choose between the two. People choose either one or the other. Most people choose the world and always put God to test as these Pharisees do. They seem to be religious outwardly but wilfully hey have chosen the world.
Jesus is very clear about choosing. Both God and world are important. Jesus has said that we are in the world but not of the world. This clarity is essential for choosing. There are things of the world and they should be given that credit only and the things of God which need to be given the merit accordingly.

இயேசுவின் பதில் கேட்டவர்களை சிந்திக்க வைக்கிறது. இயேசு உலகத்தையோ உலகு சார்ந்த தலைவர்களையோ வெறுக்கவில்லை. ஒவ்வொருக்கும் அவரவருக்கு தேவையான மதிப்பும் மரியாதையும் கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்பதே இயேசுவின் விருப்பம்.
