GOSPEL READING: MARK 12:18-27
He is not God of the dead but of the living.
Human traditions and understandings are often read into God’s activities and God’s nature. God cannot be fully understood by human reasoning. God is rightly known only through revelation. Revelation in the past had been only partial but the total and complete revelation of God is in Jesus.
God is the God of the living. This is one of the revelations of Jesus. But the tradition that came out through Moses was to solve a particular situation at a specific time. But the revelation is beyond traditions and situations. God existed even before the traditions were formed.

அவர் இறந்தோரின் கடவுள் அல்ல: மாறாக, வாழ்வோரின் கடவுள்.
கடவுளைப்பற்றி தெரிந்தகொள்ள விரும்புபவர்கள் கடவுளின் வெளிப்பாடுகளை காணவேண்டும். மறபுகளையும் பழக்க வழக்கங்களையும் வைத்து கடவுளை காணக்கூடாது. இயேசுதான் கடவுளின் நிறைவெளிப்பாடு.
