GOSPEL  READING  Mk 3:1-6

Jesus was in the synagogue on a Sabbath day. Jesus was fulfilling the Sabbath rule by being present in the synagogue. We see Jesus in the synagogue quite a many time and he is regular in visiting the temple and he follows the normal rules and traditions. But he opposed the traditions and rules when they did not respect the persons and when they go against the persons.

Doing good for others should not have any restrictions. No law, no tradition, no time factor, no space factor, no group, no clan should prevent one from doing good. Again, doing good is the work of God and that was what god had done at creation. Whatever god did was good and god found it good.
