*The Secret revealed to Beloveds*
Today’s gospel contrasts again “those outside” with those who were with Jesus. To his disciples “the secret of the kingdom of God” has been given, while for those outside “everything comes in parables”. The “secret” that was hidden in the heart of God is now revealed in Jesus Christ. This mystery of God is made known only to those whom God chooses to disclose it as they get to know him and open their heart to his will through Jesus. The disciples of Jesus know that he is indeed the Messiah and has inaugurated the kingdom of God in his ministry. In contrast “those outside” do not know the truth that the parables teach, nor do they understand the depth of mystery hidden in Jesus. Jesus quotes Isaiah in the midst of his parables to describe their dilemma, that they blind and deafen themselves from seeing and hearing the full truth. Because of their closed hearts, not only they prevent themselves from growing up, but fail to increase and yield fruits.
இன்றைய நற்செய்தியில் இயேசு தம்மோடு இருக்கும் சீடர்களை “வெளியில் இருப்பவர்களோடு” மீண்டும் ஒப்பிடுகிறார். அவருடைய சீடர்களுக்கு “இறையாட்சியின் மறைபொருள்” கொடுக்கப்படுகிறது> “புறம்பே இருக்கின்றவர்களுக்கோ எல்லாம் உவமைகளாகவே இருக்கின்றன.” கடவுளிடத்தில் மறைந்திருக்கும் மறைபொருள் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் வழியே வெளிப்படுகிறது. இம்மறைபொருள் இயேசுவின் மூலமாய் கடவுளை அறிந்து கொள்ளவும் அவருடைய சித்தத்தை தெரிவுசெய்ய விரும்பும் ஒரு சிலருக்கு மட்டுமே வெளிப்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. இயேசுவின் சீடர்கள் இயேசுவே மெசியா என்றும் அவரின் மறைப்பணியில் இறையாட்சி தொடங்கி உள்ளதை இவ்வாறாக கண்டுகொண்டனர். மாறாக, “வெளியில் இருப்பவர்களோ” உவமைகள் உணர்த்தும் உண்மையை அறிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை, அதே வேளையில் இயேசுவில் மறைந்திருந்த ஆழ்ந்த மறைபொருளையும் புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை. இவர்களின் இந்த மந்த நிலையை, அதாவது கண்ணிருந்தும் பார்வையற்றவராய் காதிருந்தும் கேளாதவராய் செயல்படுவதை இயேசு எசாயாவின் மேற்குறிப்போடும் உவமைகளோடும் விளக்குகின்றார். அவர்கள் திறந்த மனதோடு செயல்படாததால் தங்கள் வளர்ச்சிக்கும் மட்டும் தடையாய் இல்லாமல், நிறைய பலன்களை அறுவடை செய்யாமலும் வாழுகின்றனர்.
