*The Most Holy Trinity, Sunday – 16th June 2019 — Gospel: Jn 16,12-15*
*Moving beyond Creation to Sacredness *
In the gospel, Jesus speaks of the Spirit who shares all that the Father has given to Jesus, the Son. This Spirit enlightens the disciples to understand and experience the truth of Jesus in a rich way. Because of the Spirit, Jesus is not a distant figure from the past and the Spirit continues to accompany us in revealing the truths about Jesus. The deepest truth that Jesus came to reveal is His Father, who as Creator loves all his creation and has the destiny of this creation to return to its Creator. The first temptation then is to accept and believe that this universe happened independently from the Creator’s love. Jesus became human to notify that we are not only created, but also embraced in love beyond all other creatures. Jesus began the process of returning us into the image and likeness of God in which we were originally made. The second temptation then is to reject the holiness of our humanity and the redemption that we have merited through Jesus. The Spirit gently reveals many things that are beyond and unknown. It assists us to see all the gifts of creation and recognizes grace in the world. It labours patiently and gently with us in our pilgrimage on earth. The third temptation then is to think of enjoying and experiencing life in its fullness at the cost of depriving global love and peace. In our life’s journey we need to enjoy the overwhelming love of our Creator, feel the salvific love of the Son and the guidance of the Spirit that moves us beyond this creation and into that sacredness.
தந்தை தம் மகன் இயேசுவுக்கு கொடுத்த அனைத்தையும் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிற ஆவியானவரைப் பற்றி நற்செய்தியில் இயேசு பேசுகிறார். இயேசு பற்றிய உண்மையை ஆழமாக அனுபவிக்கவும் புரிந்து கொள்ளவும் ஆவியானவர் சீடர்களைத் தூண்டுகிறார். ஆவியானவரின் துணையால், இயேசுவை கடந்த காலத்தவராக, தொலைதூரத்தில் உள்ளவராக பாவிக்காமல்; ஆவியானவர் உடனிருந்து இயேசு பற்றிய உண்மையை வெளிப்படுத்துவதில் தொடர்ந்து செயலாற்றுகிறார் என்று அறிந்து கொள்கிறோம். படைப்பாளராம் தந்தையை வெளிப்படுத்தியதே இயேசு வெளிப்படுத்திய ஆழமான உண்மையாகும். புடைப்பாளர் தன்னுடைய படைப்புகளையெல்லாம் நேசிக்கின்றார் மற்றும் படைப்பனைத்தும் படைப்பாளரை திரும்பி வந்தடைவதே அதன் இலக்கு. எனவே முதல் சோதனை, இந்த பிரபஞ்சம் படைப்பாளரின் அன்பினை தவிர்த்து, தனித்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டது என்று ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவதும் நம்புவதும் ஆகும். இயேசுவின் மனுஉருவாக்கம் நாம் எல்லோரும் படைக்கப்பட்டோம் என்பதோடு, மற்ற எல்லா படைப்புகளையும் விட அதிக அன்பைப் பெற்றுள்ளோம் என்றும் அறிவிக்கிறது. இயேசுவின் செயல்பாடுகள் நாம் தொடக்கம் முதலே கடவுளின் உருவிலும் சாயலிலும் படைக்கப்பட்ட நிலைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்கின்றது. எனவே இரண்டாவது சோதனை, மனுக்குலத்தின் பரிசுத்தத்தையும், மற்றும் இயேசுவின் வழியாய் நாம் பெற்ற மீட்பையும் நிராகரிப்பதாகும். தூய ஆவியானவர் மறைவானதையும் கடந்து நிற்க்கும் பலவற்றையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றார். அதே ஆவியானவர் படைப்பின் கொடைகளையும் இறையருளின் ஆசிரையும் இவ்வுலகில் கண்டுணர உதவுகின்றார். நம்முடைய பூமிப் பயணத்தில் பொறுமையுடனும் கனிவுடனும் வழிநடத்துகிறார். எனவே மூன்றாவது சோதனை, இந்த பூமியில் உள்ள எல்லாவற்றிலும் நாம் வாழ்வை இன்புற்று அனுபவிப்பது, இதனால் இவ்வுலகத்தின் அமைதியையும் அன்பையும் சீர்குலைப்பது. நம்முடைய வாழ்வுப் பயணத்தில் நம் படைப்பாளரின் அன்பை முழுமையாக அனுபவிப்பதும், மீட்பராம் இயேசுவின் அன்பை உணரவும் மற்றும் ஆவியானவரின் வழிநடத்துதலினால் இந்த படைப்புக்கு அப்பால் உள்ள புனிதத்தன்மைக்குள் நுழைய வேண்டும்.
