GOSPEL READING: MARK 16: 9-15
This is a summary statement of the resurrection appearances. Jesus appeared to individuals first and asked them to communicate to the others. Then he met them in groups at various places and revealed to them that he is risen as the scriptures have told. Constantly Jesus has taken initiative to prove to the disciples that he had risen. This also shows how difficult it was to make the disciples believe which in turn proves that resurrection was a reality.
Jesus criticised the disciples for their unbelief. Their hearts were hardened as that of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. God did many signs to make Pharaoh realize that Yahweh was God. Here Jesus appeared many times and proved through many appearances that he is risen. His only command was to bear witness to the Gospel and here in the context that Jesus is risen.

இயேசு சீடர்களுக்கு தோன்றி உயிர்ப்பை பற்றிய உண்மையை வெளிப்படுத்தினார். பல இடங்களில் பல தடவைகள் அவர் தோன்றி சீடர்களை திடப்படுத்தினார். அவர்களின் நம்பிக்கையின்மையை சாடினார். அவர் விடுத்த கட்டளை அவர்களை சாட்சிகளாக வாழ அழைக்கிறது. நற்செய்திக்கு சான்று பகர இன்று சிறப்பாக உயிர்ப்புக்கு சாட்சிகளாக வாழ அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்கள்.
