Breaking the Word

GOSPEL READING: JOHN 8:21-30

Where one belongs is more important than where one is. One can belong to this world (below) or one can belong to heaven (above). The listeners belong to this world and they thing worldly things and that is the reason they are not able to understand what Jesus says. Those who are on this earth cannot go to the other world on their own.

Jesus belongs to what is above. The one who is from above or the one who belongs to what is above has then Father with him. Whatever he speaks is from the Father and whatever he does is the will of the Father and all what he does pleases the Father. So the one from above speaks what God speaks; does what God does and he pleases the Father.

எதை சார்ந்திருக்கிறார் என்பது முக்கியம்;; இவ்வுலகையா மறுஉலகையா? உலகை சார்ந்தவர்கள் உலகு சார்ந்த சிந்தனைகள்;; உலகு சார்ந்த செயல்பாடுகளோடு இறக்கிறார்கள். மறுஉலகை சார்ந்தவர்கள் தந்தையைப் பற்றியும் தந்தையின் கருத்துக்களையும் விருப்பங்களையும் நிறைவேற்றுவதிலும் வாழ்கிறார்கள்.

GOSPEL READING: JOHN 8:1-11

Jesus was in Jerusalem during the feast days. And at the day-time he was in the temple area preaching and doing the works of the kingdom. But at night he went to the Mount of Olives. (He had no friends in Jerusalem who would give him shelter!). He went to the Mount to pray so that he could meet the crowd in the morning (But early in the morning he arrived again in the temple area, and all the people started coming to him, and he sat down and taught them. – Jn 8:2)

It is impossible to tell, and therefore needless to ask, what he wrote; but this is the only mention made in the gospels of Jesus writing something. Jerome and Ambrose suppose that he wrote the names of the wicked men. (They that depart from me shall be written in the earth Jer 17:13 KJV). Also the earth is cursed. Jesus also by this teaches to be slow to speak when difficult cases are proposed to.
