Breaking the Word

GOSPEL READING: JOHN 7:1-2,10,25-30

To know God is the goal of every human being. (For it is love that I desire, not sacrifice, and knowledge of God rather than holocausts. – Hosea 6:6). Knowledge of God is the experience of God. (I am the LORD, your God, since the land of Egypt; You know no God besides me, and there is no savior but me Hosea 13:4).

Jesus knows God and this knowledge is seen in his belonging to him; in finding God as the source of his life. This knowledge of God is further assured in the commission of God. God has given Jesus a mission. To acknowledge that God is the source and God has a mission is the knowledge which Jesus proposes in this passage.

கடவுளைப்பற்றிய அறிவே சிறந்தது> அடித்தளமானது> மனிதத்தின் குறிக்கோளும் அதுவே. இந்த அறிவைக் கொண்டவன் தான் கடவுளிடமிருந்து வருவதை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வான்> கடவுள்தான் பணித்தார் என்பதை உணர்ந்து செயல்படுவான்.

GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 1:16-21

Problems are there in every family. Problems are there even in the family of Nazareth. Problems come right from the beginning of the family: right from the time of engagement. Even a righteous man tries to solve the problem in the human way. Righteous man solves the problem in a justifiable way. He does not want the problem to be made known by others.

Believers must solve the problems with faith. They should see the problem and solutions with an eye of faith and with the eye of God. God has an answer which man does not know. Man should be open to the answer from God. The solution from God has an answer for the family and through the family the answer solves the problem for the society.

எல்லா குடும்பங்களிலும் பிரட்சனைகள் உண்டு. நாசரேத்து குடும்பத்திலும் இருந்தன. நேர்மையாளர்கள் பிரட்சனைகளை மனித கண்ணோட்டத்தில் சட்டரீதியாக காண்கிறார்கள். கடவுள் கண்ணோட்டத்தில் அல்லது நம்பிக்கை கண்ணோட்டத்தில் பார்க்கும்போது கிடைக்கும் பதில்கள் குடும்பத்தையும் பாதுகாக்கிறது சமுதாயத்திற்கும் பயனள்ளதாக இருக்கிறது.
