Breaking the Word

GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 13:1-9

But some seed fell on rich soil, and produced fruit, a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold.

The parable clearly speaks about a particular activity. The work of the sower is to sow the seed. He does not choose the field. The field is available to him. The soil could be rocky, could a pathway, could be a place of thorny bush. However the vast are of the field is cultivable and disposed to sowing.

File is talked about only with respect to yielding. At the time of yielding the pathway, the rocky places and the thorny places have not regard. Only the real cultivated land has a message. The message is this: whatever be the lose (on the pathway, rocky ground and thorny bush) there will always be a harvest and that is the kingdom and work in the kingdom.

ஆனால் இன்னும் சில விதைகள் நல்ல நிலத்தில் விழுந்தன. அவற்றுள் சில நூறு மடங்காகவும் சில அறுபது மடங்காகவும் சில முப்பது மடங்காகவும் விளைச்சலைக் கொடுத்தன.

இறையாட்சி என்பதும் இறையாட்சி பணி என்பதும் கொடுக்கின்ற பாடம் மாறுபட்டது. என்னதான் இழப்பு இருந்தாலும் (வயலோரம், பாறை, முட்புதர்) இறையாட்சியில் முப்பது, அறுபது, நூறு மடங்கு பயனுண்டு.

GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 12:46-50

For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Mary the mother of Jesus and his brothers were standing among the crowd. They were one among them. Those who were standing there were also considering Mary as one of them and they considered her as one like them. She was considered as his human mother seeing in the human relationship only.

Jesus revealed that there was another relationship which was far superior and more important than the ordinary human relationship. This special relationship had something to do with God the Father. The only link for this special relationship was to do the will of the Father. All those who commit their lives to do the will of the Father are related. Mary is related to Jesus much more because she submitted herself to do the will of the Father.

விண்ணகத்திலுள்ள என் தந்தையின் திருவுளத்தை நிறைவேற்றுபவரே என் சகோதரரும் சகோதரியும் தாயும் ஆவார்” என்றார்.

இயேசு விரும்புகிற. இயேசு மதிக்கிற> உருவாக்குகிற உறவு புதிதானது. இந்த உறவுக்குள்;ள ஒரே ஒரு பினைப்பு ‘விண்ணகத்திலுள்ள் தந்தையின் திருவுளம’;. மரியா தான் இறைதிருவுளத்தை முதன்முதலில் நிறைவேற்றியவள். ஆகவே மரியா எல்லாரோடும் உறவு கொண்டிருக்கிறான். அதிலும் சிறப்பாக இயேவோடு.
