Breaking the Word

GOSPEL  READING: JOHN 7:40-53

 People do not consider him to be the Messiah or the son of God. But they do consider that he is different from everyone else and he is more than an ordinary person. He could be, according to them a prophet. Regarding the Messiah their idea is that the Messiah should be from Bethlehem and this one is not (according to their knowledge)

 Guards and security persons were wonder struck by his speech that they return to their officers without arresting him. Jesus’ preaching and teaching were so different from the ordinary ones that they found him to be special person. Jesus and his ministry proved to the people that he was a different one.

 இயேசுவும் அவருடைய போதனைகளும் அவரை மற்றவர்களிடமிருந்து பிறித்துக்காட்டியது. ஆவரைப்பற்றி முழுமையாக தெரியாததனால் அவரை இறைவாக்கினர் என்று கருதுகின்றனர். படைவீரர்கள் அவரை தொட அஞ்சி திரும்புகின்றனர். இவை எல்லாம் என்ன சொல்ல வருகிறது என்று பார்த்தால் அவர் மற்றவரைவிட வித்தியாசமானவர் என்பதே. இயேசுவைப்பற்றிய முழு அறிவு அவர்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட வில்லை.

GOSPEL  READING: JOHN 7: 1,2,10,25-30

 This reading speaks about Jesus and his relationship with the Father. This relationship has been the bone of contention for the Jews. Jesus situation is very clear. He has come from the Father. People do not know about it and the people are not ready to accept it when Jesus speaks about it.

 Jesus was sure that he had come from the Father and God had a plan for Jesus and everything was happening according to God’s plan. People in the world were trying to end the teaching and preaching of Jesus.  They could not however hard they might have tried. His hour had not yet come. For Jesus everything was according to the plan of God.

இயேசுஎங்கிருந்துவந்தார்என்றுமக்களுக்குத்தெரியாது. இயேசுயார்என்றும்மக்களுக்குதெரியாது (தந்தைக்கும்இயேசுவுக்கும்உள்ளஉறவு). அவரதுநேரமும்அவர்களுக்குத்தெரியாது. இவைஅனைத்தையும்தெரிந்தவர்தந்தையும்இயேசுவும்மட்டுமே.
