*First Week of Advent, Tuesday — 4th December 2018 — **Gospel: Luke 10,21-24*
*Beatitude of Seeing*
This scene expresses deep joy and wonder as Jesus continues to form his disciples. His spontaneous prayer expresses his gratitude to the Father for revealing the ways of the kingdom to those who are simple and open-hearted, unhindered by preconceived ideas of how God should act. God’s “gracious will” has always worked in this way: resisting the proud and giving grace to the humble. Although God gives freely, the attitude of the receiver determines the internal effects of that grace.
The Father has entrusted everything to his Son, so Jesus is the channel of God’s revelation and can make him known to anyone. No one can truly understand the Father’s saving will without listening to his Son. The prophets and kings of ancient Israel longed to see and hear the wonders of this age of salvation brought by Jesus. But to those who live in the time of fulfillment will be showered upon another “beatitude of seeing”. They bear witness to the Trinitarian coordination in Jesus, which unfolds their mysterious revelations and mystical unions. These little ones will be fortunate to marvel at this mysterious power in pronouncing the name of Jesus.
இக்காட்சியில் இயேசு தம் சீடர்களின் உருவாக்கத்தில் நிறைவான மகிழ்ச்சியையும் ஆச்சர்யத்தையும் வெளிப்படுத்துவதை காண்கின்றோம். கடவுளைப் பற்றிய பாராம்பரிய எண்ணங்களைத் தவிர்த்து இப்பகுதியில் இறையாட்சியின் மறையுண்மைகளை எளியவர்களுக்கும் திறந்த மனதுடையோருக்கும் இயேசு வழியாக வெளிப்படுத்தியதற்காக இறைத்தந்தைக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகின்றார். கடவுளின் திருவுளம் எப்பொழுதும் இவ்வாறாக செயல்படும்: செருக்குற்றோரை தகர்த்து தாழ்ச்சியுள்ளோருக்கு நிறையருளைத் தரும். எனவே கடவுள் மனமுவந்து அளித்தாலும் பெறுபவர்களின் தகுதியும் எண்ணங்களையும் பொறுத்தே இவ்வருளின் முழுமையான பலனை அனுபவிக்கலாம். இவ்வருளின் வெளிப்பாடு இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவே. இறைத்தந்தையின் மீட்புத்திட்டத்தை அவர் மகன் சொற்படி நடவாதவர் புரிந்து கொள்ளமுடியாது. இம் மாட்சியின் காலத்தை இஸ்ராயேலின் இறைவாக்கினர்களும் அரசர்களும் காணவும் கேட்கவும் ஆவல்கொண்டிருந்தனர். ஆனால் அதை இயேசுவில் கண்டுணர்வோர் பேறுபெற்றோர். அவர்கள் மூவொரு இறைவனின் உடனிருப்பிற்கும் வெளிப்பாட்டிற்கும் ஒற்றுமையும் சாட்சிகளாய் திகழ்வார்கள். இந்த எளியவர்கள் இயேசுவின் பெயரை அறிக்கையிடுவதில் உள்ள மாட்சியையும் வல்லமையையும் உணர்ந்து ஆச்சர்யப்படுவார்கள்.
