*Truth that leads personally*
Jesus creates a never ending bond with the disciples as his earthly attachment comes to an end. This part of the farewell discourse of Jesus encourages, strengthens and enlightens his disciples. He promises them “the Spirit of Truth” that “will guide them into all the truth” and “disclose to them what is to come”. Therefore the characteristic and weapon of this third person of the trinity is truth. As ‘Spirit of truth’, until the end of the ages, helps true hearts to know and love the truth. He brings to completion, avowed incompleteness of Christ’s own teaching. He teaches the specific truth about the Person of Jesus and the significance of what He said and did. In letting this truth in our hearts, the promised comforter graciously and gently guides all those who trust in Jesus. In another sense the phrase suggests the imagery of a loving hand put out to lead personally. The truth unfolded is not a promise of mere awareness, but it is the assurance of gradual and growing acquaintance with the spiritual and moral truth which is revealed, of which there is more to be explored and known.
இவ்வுலகிலிருந்து பிரிந்து செல்வதை அறிந்திருந்த இயேசு தம்முடைய சீடர்களுடன் ஒர் முடிவில்லா உறவை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றார். பிரியாவிடை சொற்பொழிவின் இப்பகுதி அவருடைய சீடர்களை ஊக்குவிக்கிறது, பலப்படுத்துகிறது, விழிப்பூட்டுகிறது. அவர்களை வழிநடத்தும் எல்லா உண்மைக்கும் மற்றும் வரப்போகின்றவற்றை வெளிப்படுத்தவும் உண்மையாம் ஆவியானவரை வாக்களிக்கின்றார் இயேசு. எனவே, தமத்திருத்துவத்தின் மூன்றாம் நபரின் பண்பு மற்றும் ஆயூதம் உண்மையாகும். உண்மையின் ஆவியானவர் இவ்வுலக இறுதிகாலம் வரை உள்ளங்கள் உண்மையை அறிந்து கொள்ளவும் அன்பு செய்யவும் உதவுகின்றார். அவர் இயேசுவின் சொந்த போதனைகளையும் வெளிப்படுத்தாதவற்றையும் நிறைவாக்குகின்றார். அவர் இயேசுவினுடைய ஆளுமையின் முக்கிய உண்மைகளையும் மற்றும் அவரின் செயல்பாடுகள், சொற்களின் உள்ளார்ந்த அர்த்தத்தையும் கற்பிப்பார். நம்முடைய உள்ளத்தில் இந்த உண்மையை நாம் அனுமதிக்கையில், வாக்களிக்கப்பட்ட ஆறுதலானவர் கருணையுடனும் கனிவுடனும் இயேசுவை நம்புவோரை வழிநடத்துகின்றார். மற்றொரு விதத்தில், ஓர் அன்பான கரம் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் வழிநடத்தும் உருவகத்தை சுட்டிக் காட்டுகிறது. வெறும் விழிப்புணர்வின் வாக்குறுதியாக இந்த உண்மை வெளிப்படுத்தப்படவில்லை. மாறாக, ஆன்மீக மற்றும் அறநெறி உண்மைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தி, படிப்படியாக வளர்ச்சியடைந்து அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்படுவதை உறுதிசெய்கின்றது. இவற்றில் இன்னும் ஆராய்ச்சி செய்யவும் அறியப்படவும் வேண்டிய உண்மைகள் அதிகம் உள்ளன.
