Breaking the Word

GOSPEL READING: LUKE 4:31-37

Teaching and preaching on the Sabbath was the proper work for that day. It was a day of rest. But it was a day to worship God and reflect on God. Jesus was doing the right thing. People were astonished at his doctrine. Because, his doctrines were right and he taught them with authority. Power was working in him.

The evil spirit recognized Jesus first and they proclaimed him as the Holy one of God. Evil spirits are in sense do the work of announcing the presence of God in Jesus. Evil also is an indication for the presence of good in the world. Evil announces the presence of God and Godly works.

ஓய்வு நாள்களை ய+தர்கள் கடவுள் வழிபாட்டிற்கும் கடவுளைப்பற்றிய போதனைகளுக்கும் பயன்படுத்தினார்கள். தீய ஆவிகள் கடவுளை அறிந்திருந்தன. தீய ஆவிகள்தான் இயேசுவை முதன்முதலில் வெளிப்படுத்தினார்கள். தீய ஆவிகள்கூட கடவுள் இருக்கிறார் என்பதற்கு சாட்சிகள்.

GOSPEL READING: MARK 6:17-29

John was arrested and put in prison on account of the wife of his brother Philip. John had said that it was not lawful to marry the wife of his brother. John was telling what was requested of the people in the Ten Commandments (Ex 20:17 see also Lev 18:16). John was right in pointing it out to Herod.

John spoke the truth and he spoke the biblical truth and the truth was for the legal demands for life (Ten Commandments). John was a righteous man and he was also considered to be a holy man. John perplexed the people with his speech but they loved to listen to him. People like to listen to truth; and they like to associate with righteous and holy people. But truth hurts.

யோவான் உண்மையைப் பேசினார். விவிலியம் கூறும் உண்மையையும் வாழ்க்கைக்குத் தேவையான ஒழுங்குகளையும் பேசினார். யோவான் நேர்மையும் தூய்மையும் உள்ளவர். அவர் சொல்லைக் கேட்டு மிகக் குழப்பமுற்ற போதிலும்> அவருக்கு மனமுவந்து செவிசாய்த்தான் ஏரோது. உண்மைக்கு செவிசாய்ப்பார்கள் மக்கள்@ நேர்மையாளர்களோடும் புனிதர்களோடும் உறவாட விரும்புவார்கள். ஆனால் உண்மை சுடும்.
