31.07.2015 CARPENTER

GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 13:54-58

His own people could not accept the fact that Jesus, son of a carpenter and relative of their own household, spoke of heavenly realities the things of the world to come and in parables. Their mind set was only to speak of the realities of the day and their relevance to this day. Jesus spoke of today’s realities and their reference to the days to come.

They were right in saying that the Wisdom of this sort was not from us. They could not jump a step and say that God could have given him this wisdom or he is from God. They were so sure of today realities that they were not ready to see things in faith perspective. When we do not see things in faith perspective or divine perspective then there will be offense.

30.07.2015 LAST DAY

GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 13:47-53

What we see happening today is what will happen on the last day. Whatever happens today should make us aware of the end time. Reality today is a reminder for tomorrow. Natural events are reminders of the things to come. People who are worried about the next world should not in any way run away from the reality.

The happening of the last day is very much in control God. God has his assistants (the angels) to assist him. Even though the good and the bad live together in this world they will be separated. God and bad do not co-exist in the next world. Good has its own place and the bad has its place.
