GOSPEL READING: LUKE 12: 35-38
Working relationship between a master and a servant is dealt with in this passage. The servant should be ever ready. It is said: “Gird your loins and light your lamps”. Since it is late into night (9pm to 12 midnight or 12 midnight to 3 am) the servant should not put on his night dress and turn off the light.
He should be ever vigilant. The master’s return should be the only factor in his mind. The chronological time factor should not in any way disturb him. The master’s return is the only indication of time and only reference of time. His return is THE time and the servant should be ready to receive the master (without considering the time and season and second or third watch)
தலைவர் பணியாளர் இடையே உள்ள பணி உறவைப் பற்றி பேசுகிறது. தலைவனுக்காக காத்திருக்கும்போது காலமும் நேரமும் முக்கியமல்ல. அது எந்த நேரமாக இருந்தாலும் எந்தப் பொழுதாக இருந்தாலும் தலைவன் வரும் நேரமே ‘காலம்> நேரம்> பொழுது’ எல்லாம். தலைவன் வரும் நேரத்தைதான் கருத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். அதற்காக விழித்திருக்க வேண்டும்.
