Breaking the Word

GOSPEL READING: MATTHEW 5: 17-19

The rules which Jesus established agreed with the scriptures of the Old Testament – Law and the Prophets. The Prophets were the commentators of the Law. Both together – Law and the Prophets, made up the rule of faith and practice for the people of Israel. Like every Jew Jesus, Jesus also has the respect and honour and respect for the scriptures.

To fulfill means to fill up the defects, to complete it and to perfect it. Jesus has come to remove the defects in the sense to fill up all the loopholes (to clear the ambiguity). His duty is to complete the law and perfect it so that there will never be any misunderstanding. And that is the reason he becomes the scriptures (he is the word).

திருச்சட்டமும் இறைவாக்குகளும் இனைந்து இஸ்ராயேல் மக்களின் வாழ்வுநெறி ஆனது. நிறைவேற்றுதல் என்பது அவைகளில் உள்ள குறைகளை அகற்றுதல்@ அவைகளை முழுமைபடுத்தி நிறைவு செய்தல் ஆகும். இயேசு தனது போதனை> செயல்கள்> வழியாக நிறைவு செய்கிறார். அவரே அதன் நிறைவு.

GOSPEL READING: LUKE 1:26-38

The angel was sent with a mission. The angel had to communicate the plan of God for the society. This communication is done through the cooperation of an individual. Angel does not depart until he gets the consent of this individual. The angel answers all the doubts and explains every unknown events of the happening. Angel is the messenger and he has to communicate the message.

The messenger had come with a mission and the mission was to communicate another mission. The mission was the mission of Jesus. Communication was to say who Jesus was and what was he supposes to be and to do. The communication or the announcement was to inform about the mission of Jesus for the society.

வானதூதரின் பணியே ஒரு பணியை முன்அறிவிக்கவே. இறைதிட்டம் இறைசித்தம் இவற்றை வெளிப்படுத்தவே வானதூதர் இவ்வுலகிற்கு வருகிறார். யாருக்கு அறிவிக்க வருகிறாரோ அவர் எற்றுக்கொள்ளும்வரை விளக்கந்கள் தருகிறார். புணியை எற்றுக்கொண்ட உடனே பணி நியைவுபெறும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையில் வானதூதர் திரும்புகிறார். இயேசுவை முன்னறிவிப்பதே இயேசுவின் பணியை முன்னறிவிப்பதே வானதூதரின் பணி;.
